Hi Rachna! The level of safety depends on which hill station you are planning to travel to and the weather conditions of the place. However, in most mountains, if the roads are not blocked due to snow, it will be safe to travel. Happy and Safe Travels
Hey Rachna, I think watching mountains in winter is a whole new thing, winter tourism is growing day by day so there are facilities and nowadays people trying to skip the crowd so if you wanna skip the rush then travel in winter as it is Off-Season in Mountains. #takemetohimalayas
There is nothing better than the mountains as Ruskin Bond said"once you live in the mountains, there is no going back you belong to them" i love here in mcleodganj i came on a solotrip and it's amazing until i have a beat in my heart and a mountain to climb the people of mountains are hardworking and honest they believe in hustling.
It depends where you are planning to visit, as if u r visiting hill station in north so almost every place is covered with snow accept few, it's safe to visit but there will be bit problems like road blocking and due to excessive snowfall/rain may possible you can't explore the place much. But if you are planning to visit south then the weather there will be totally different from north. First decide where you wanna travel and then you can check the weather forecast of that place. Here where I'm right now ( Dehradun ) it's raining from past two days.
