Hi Abhiram. In January, a visit to Nathula Pass will rely heavily on the prevailing snowfall conditions. Road to Nathula may get blocked due to snowfall. You can check that after reaching Gangtok. If the road is blocked, permit for Nathula would not be issued. In that case you may go for Tsomgo Lake - Baba Mandir trip. Hope this helps.
