Hi Tanuj, Given the monsoon season I'd suggest to monitor the weather closely and to talk to the locals to know about the accessibility of the roads, before you go. Except the monsoons there is nothing to worry about visiting SIkkim in September.

The best time to visit North Sikkim is mainly from Oct to May as the area experiences heavy monsoon in June to Sept. So ideally plan to visit North Sikkim after September if possible.

Yes September is a good time to visit. it is not much cold at that period.
