Is solo trekking possible to hampta pass??? what are the overnight staying options? or i have to carry a tent? if i carry a tent then can anywhere i do overnight stay or it requires permission?

Solo travelling is definitely possible to Hampta Pass but its not recommended because in mountains weather is an issue, it can change drastically within short period of time and there are also issues with wild animals and other things. So its better to go with some credible travel agency, there are no canteens throughout the trek so for food you will have to go some travel agency and you will also have to carry sleeping mattress, sleeping bag and tent also if you go with some trekking agency you will have toilet tents otherwise you will have to go in open, that is an issue. Trekking solo is good but its better with other companions its awesome. Sir can i customize the trek package as i already have my own tent and make my meal by self... so the thing is i need guidence or a group to join which i will pay for. or otherwise i have to do the trek alone.

Hi.. First of all you need to take a permit to climb hamta pass.. That's most of the trekkers prefer trekkimg groups and they are well organized and taken care of everything. I recommend you to go for Kailashrath treks.

Hi Simran, You will need a guide as the trail can get tricky, yes you will also have to carry a tent. The best way would be going in a group.
