Ahh good! At least where I live in Lucknow, it isn't so bad. But do not forget to tell about the serene place if you find out. Cheers
I am from Lucknow , Holi is famous here , people will play always on roads and colony so crowded place.
Holi is a big time festival and not just in India. I am not sure if there is any place without even a bit of craze for Holi. If you get to find a place, do let me know.
Go to leh ladakh or spiti or on any trek

You should then be visiting the hilly ranges of Kerala. Idukki, Munnar, Vagamon, and nearby places would surely give you peace of mind. You can also expect early monsoon rains if your'e lucky.!
