August month means peak of Monsoon.... beaches won't be a good option for travelling
bt stil if you prefer for beaches,Daman & Dui Wil b the best option.. the beaches are clean, non - chaotic & provides good scenic view.
even it's bugdet friendly & there are many other places to explore nearby...from pilgrim sites to exotic locations.
Before planning your trip to any place, just make sure about the weather condition
Hey Misha..totally understand your emotion but in august there will rains all around beaches..Monsoon reaching south India on June6th itself and till october it will be rains & sometimes heavy also so your trip can be spoiled..I went for beach trip once in August and coudn’t enjoy due to weather..but still that is unpredictable sometimes..totally luck that rains dont cross your path for a week..ANDAMANS is undoubtedly the best of all beaches in India and perfectly awesome..Goa is second option..With family you can also visit Kerala, you’ll love the greenery around..if you can resist beaches..then try exploring Himanchal or North east even you can go to Bhutan or Nepal they are breathtakingly beautiful..Choice is yours..Take time and check web around to get good deals..HAPPY TRAVELLING

Palolem beach, Goa, is what your heart seeks. Plus there is a resort called Palolem Beach resort. The property itself is located at the beach. It is in southern Goa, so not much crowd. Only serene breeze at the beach and family time. just don't expect much from the resort staff there. it is only to enjoy the beach.
