You can visit Swami Narayan Temple at Joka, RBI museum. Also you can visit some of the heritage buildings in Kolkata. If you have time, you can plan for a day trip to Mondwarika Eco-Resort, the first tyre house in India. You will get idea about this place in my Tripoto profile.

Eco Park is the best suited option for you. You can easily spend a whole day exploring the gigantic Park.
