It takes around 4 to 5 hrs to reach kasol from bir ... Coming to stay options as you asked ... Always best to take a hostel .. And few reputed and dependable hostels are :- 1. Unsure about this place Ankita ... will let you know if I get any details ... best is call in person before booking to property guys ...
Kasol will be the best place for November. you can travel to Manali from Bhuntar. Stay at Manali. there are so many hotels or homestay at Manali. You can book a cab from Manali to Bir. If you want to enjoy Paragliding at bir, it will take a full day almost. so make your plan for Bir from Manali.

Sure! I'll give it a read! I do need few recommendations on stay. Specially in terms of safety and someone over there who can help me around with the place
Hi Ankita, Nov 7th is perfect for Kasol, the weather is going to be cold, not too chilly, the peaks would be white. The best way to travel is using HRTC bus, you can either hop on to the Manikaran bus from Bir or you can take any bus going to Kullu and get down at Bhuntar, from there you will have to get another bus for Kasol. Also attaching some option to stay in Kasol with this comment you can click on them to see the details and make booking

Rohit, this is extremely helpful. I was really confused with varied stay options. I will be traveling alone so it's important that I find a place which is safe and the people are friendly to help around. Would you be kind enough to help me point out the hotel which is best in terms of location, people and stay?
