If you are thinking of Rajasthan- You can consider Jaiselmer , Jodhpur and if time allows then Bikaner.With winters in north, you'll enjoy your time Jaiselmer and if you are thinking of Punjab - you can go Amritsar,Dalhousie khajjiar ..can be covered in 3 days
