Hey ! here are few suggestions-
• firstly, chose which region of the country you want to explore and then decide the place.
• travel during off season, but even its peak you need to make advance bookings
• for flight- book ticket in advance (atleast a month) and Opt for public transport if travelling by bus or shared taxi or train
• for accommodation, checkout the backpacking hostels (they are fun & economical dorms) - Zostel, Moustache, Gostops, The Hosteller, Shalom etc to name a few!
• for Hotels- checkout MMT, Booking.com or directly call the hotel for booking & you can negotiate the prices (it works)
• Try local or street delicacies in food
• Most importantly, read about the place you wanna travel and create a rough travel roadmap for ease!
