Best way to Reach Sou is by Car from Vadodara. The Ticket charges are 350/- for normal tickets and 1000/- for express tickets. i highly recommend purchasing the express tickets otherwise you'll be wasting a lot of time in a queue.

Yes its a good time to visit because when monsoon started all places will be closed due to landslides. In Uttrakhand you can visit Massoorie , Dehradun,Nainital, Auli, Rishikesh. And for Badrinath and Kedarnath it will be good if you can do 2 days like for Badrinath direct cabs are available but for Kedarnath you need to walk almost 14kms one side. So it will take time .

There are many budget hotels in both the places. for digha November to march is great time. if you are travelling from kolkata, then the per head expense for both of the places is around 5k for two days.
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Best time is october to feb, budget less than 5k, in digha it depends on hotel you choose and food you eat.

April to Mid-May is a great time. April marks the beginning of tourist season in Ladakh when the place begins to warm up with tourist activity. Restaurants open, hotels and guest houses start to welcome guest and various camps at sites such as Pangong Tso and Tso Moriri Lake commence to set up. Usually by the second week of May, the crucial Srinagar-Leh highway opens up leading to a flurry of tourism energy into Ladakh. By late April, all the lakes including the Pangong Tso and Tso Moriri begin to melt, uncovering the beautiful colors and fabulous sights. In order to welcome more guests, hotels and guesthouses offer heavy discounts, benefitting all the travelers who happens to be present here around this time. However, both Khardung La and Chang La passes are still under the snow and it’s a memorable experience in itself to pass through them.
