Hi Friends! Should I go for a local SIM in Dubai? What would be the cost for a week?

If you really need it for cab book or any other details then buy from from outside airport or local market .
In airport around 95 UAE Dirham cost (More than 1500rs ) of DU sim for you and in local market its around 60 Dirham. And if you have postpaid sim then you can activate the International Plans for it.

Better to buy the sim card in your origin airport it will cost you little more but it can save your time

There are many decent hotels which you can look into
but first you need to crystallise number of days and total budget.
Then reach out to hotels directly on their contact no or email id.
Since yours is a bulk booking for 35 people , you should get very good discount.

Varanasi in uttar pradesh Rishikesh and haridwar in uttarakhand Khajuraho in madhya pradesh Hampi and COORG in Karnataka Pondicherry in tamil nadu Varkala in kerala ... You get the visa for Thailand which will cover Bangkok and Phuket both . Infact you can visit any other Thai city as well . Have a great trip :)

Depends on so many things....
if you are a solo traveller, you have plenty of options...
if you are in a company of one or 2, choose nearest destination so that you won't spend more in reaching to and fro ur destination. if you want to visit beaches, it might b cheap in comparison to water or any other sports activity njoy some unexplored place and have fun

For Varanasi you can starts with ghats and ganga arti for one day and can go for sightseeing the second day with temples and forts nearby.

Spend 3 nights at Krabi.
On way back, take a taxi from Bangkok airport to Pattaya. 2 night there and then 2 night in Bangkok.
Though visa is available on arrival in Thailand , i will suggest to take the same from India since you are travelling with small kid
