Shillong market place has plenty of hotels. For Cherapunji, I have stayed in Four Season Eco Resort (8575937759, 7628071725) which has a pretty good location. Dawki has river campsites to stay in.
You should go visit Copenhill in Copenhagen area which has the world's largest skiing on rooftop hilly terrain. The site generates large amount of electricty, simply by clean incineration plant that burns the city waste in insulated enviornment. The ashes are used to create an artificial snow-skiing adventure park on the plant's rooftop. Do visit and share your experience with us all!
Hi Anurag, Sometimes Tripoto like last month put up some trips which you can redeem for yourself (becomes free) or take someone with you(yours free and have to pay discounted packages price for your partner). I for example redeemed a local amusement park's tickets for two with my credits (tickets became free for me).
Entry to Sikim from weat bengal is not restricted and you don't need pass but in case you want to visit china border "Nathula Pass", you would require a pass which can be easily availed from any Gangtok's official tourist office or your hotel can also provide with minimum fee. Do must visit and it's an amazing state.
It depends alot on your preference, if a good weekend resort is what you like -The Gateway Resort near Damdama lake would be nice. A hill station is what you want, you can check out Landsdowne( not too cold), Shimla(snow and ol). Or try Jim Corbett/Ranthambore for Safari.
Near Delhi you have many places. Since this is to be a weekend getaway and keeping in mind budget and also travel time i would suggest visitng "Nuh" which is near haryana / rajasthan border and on way back, go to Neemrana fort and come back to delhi. Drive is fun (except for Delhi traffic) You can avoid all traffic, while coming back take the new highway (bypass) to get into Delhi from Faridabad in evening.
Yes absolutely....Mumbai is a safe city but be sure you travel in second class it is extremely crowded but safe coz most of the time women first class compartments are with fewer women so it is convenient but you can travel in the morning times

You can publish your individual posts (travel stories) on tripoto but not the entire website as such. If there are 50 travel stories, post each of them manually. You may need to add pics into your story one by one because this is what is happening with me. When i import a story from my blog, only text is imported and not the pics.
Hi Folk,
First thing you can not use one City metro card in another city. Its valid for that perticular city from where you bought. And if you can' t recharge through Paytm then no need of stand in queues. Just try Phonepe Wallet or can recharge with Automatic machine in metro stations.

March is considered as the favorable month for a winter trip to Spiti valley and for several good reasons. There will be plenty of snow all around. Chances of a heavy snowfall and roads getting blocked for long duration will be considerably less in March.
