November is possibly the best time to visit Sri Lanka. Though the mountains will be pretty great too, if you like colder weather.

Hi Gayatri, You can take a taxi from Vizag to Araku and keep it there for the entirety of your trip. You can check out the fares here - http://www.traveldealsfinder.com/araku-valley-car-rentals.php For just a taxi in Araku Valley, you can take full day cabs and check out the prices here - https://www.clearcarrental.com/araku-valley. As for an auto fare, you can check out apps like Ola to get an idea about the auto fares in Vizag - https://www.olacabs.com/fares/visakhapatnam Hope this helps.

It's not a perfect time because there are many possibilities of landslides and road blockages but if u r tough enough we will enjoy this season a lot.

Anytime is good time to travel but make sure you are prepared for what rainy season in mountains can bring with it. Buses may get late. Travel by Himachal Road Transport Government Buses as they have the best drivers. Also from my experience Kasol looks blissfully beautiful when it rains. Happy travelling!

Is it feasible ? It is feasible but it's not recommended because treks can be brutal in rain if you are not prepared. But still if you are planning to go make sure you have appropriate gears like - Shelter tent, quick dry pants, raincoat etc. Would be needing a guide? Depends on how confident you are to be doing it alone. It is a long trek but you do meet fellow trekkers on route. How to book a camp there? You will need to book it in advance from tour operator in McLeodganj Square. We also plan to go to "ilaka" , I hope I got the name right. I have no clue what that place is. Hope you have fun. Keep Going!

Well! You should definitely pack your bags for this trip. Triund trek is for amateur trekkers to get trekking experience. The difficulty level is easy to moderate with most of the part can easily be covered. Moreover, its very beautiful and scenic up there. This is how you can plan your trip: Reach Mclod - stay and relax Next day - start trekking ( pre booking with some agencies are recommended. Agencies will take care of all the imperative stuff like camps, food, guide etc). Stay overnight Next day - visit Shiva Cafe
