You can find beaches everywhere! My fav sunrise point is rock beach

Serenity beach and Auro beach on ECR are less frequented by crowds. They give excellent views of sunset and sunrise provided there are no clouds.

Pondicherry is known for its bakeries. Try them out. I must say though I have been there twice, I have not tried anything truly local. The French and Portugese influence is pretty prevalent in the cuisine served in the cafes. So that 's what I have ended up trying mostly.

Le Cafe and Satsanga are the best cafe. Satsanga serves french cuisine alongwith Indian including French wine. Le cafe serves Indian plus continental. If you have kids, you need to book the family section in advance (it was so way back in 2017). Both are in the French colony/white town area. Besides you should not miss the cafe inside Auroville, Bread and Chocolates. They serve mouth watering cupcakes alongwith other food

I recently visited Kashmir in July 2021, and I must say it is the most welcoming state in the country. The locals are extremely warm, especially tour guides, drivers and anyone who is in the tourism industry. They not only take care of all your little needs but also promise a beautiful experience with a promise of safety. Being the only girl in the group, it was one of the safest I've felt in the entire country. We made relationships with our hosts for a lifetime and even got invited to their house for kahwa and phirni. Read about my experience here: https://www.tripoto.com/trip/kashmir-in-2021-all-you-need-to-know-covid-guidelines-security-checks-other-secret-tips-60df1f4f27a58 I've recommended people and places too. Have a nice trip :)
