If you are greenery lover with snow clad mountains at the background then this month will suit you. But I'll suggest you to travel with some caution and stay updated to weather conditions as lot of landslides occur in Uttarakhand during monsoons and travelling to hills becomes risky.

Try visit the off-beat locations in Himachal, or else you'll be scared by the crowd. Hike the extra mile to some local villages and you'll be out of the reach of the Delhi-Punjab crowd and traffic as well.
