I personally cannot really compare between the two, but having stayed at GoStops MacLeod I can assure you it was a really good property to stay at. Very light on the pocket, with clean rooms and clean sheets and very hygienic, tasty food options. The view from the front terrace is worth waking up to, and just perfect for spending a peaceful evening. Location wise, it's a bit of a climb up a slope, but quite manageable. All in all, would definitely recommend!

With the coming of the month of April in your calendar summer sets in the lives of the people of Ladakh. This month also marks the beginning of the tourists’ seasons and people flock here in great numbers. The temperature is Maximum 15° C, Minimum -1° C at this time. During April heavy snowfall stops and the summertime takes over this whole place. One can see all the tourist places, hotels, homestays, and guest are welcomed with opened hands. If you are visiting Ladakh during this time then opt for flights as all the roads and the passes do not open at this time. The weather, however, is still not sunny and warm as the usual summers. Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport is the main airport of the area. The flights are directly connected from Delhi, Srinagar, and Jammu by the flights run by Air India, Go Air and Jet Airways. By late April, the lakes Pangong Tso and Tso Moriri start to melt, revealing the excellent hues and spectacular sights. During this time Leh has very beautiful weather with a clear sky but it is advisable to wear warm clothes for the adventure junkies as the sun can be a bit more dangerous during this time. You can visit the monasteries and the stupas which are the best places here.

No Ideally there is no Problem as your body gets acclimatized to the height of the Place, however it is always recommended to carry small oxygen cylinders available at various Chemist shops with you always for your trip to High Mountain regions. https://www.thrillophilia.com/questions/is-there-any-oxygen-problem-in-leh

Depends on where you are traveling from. if you are traveling from Bus or train, you can get down at Hospet and take an auto rickshaw from there to Hampi. Auto rickshaws are a good option to roam around in the city while on the other side of river which you have cross by boat, you can hire bikes for which you need to carry, driving licence and some other Id proof. there are many resorts to stay at and many eateries. you'll love Hampi if you love scenic beauty.
