1. Doonagiri It is situated 14kms from Dwarahat. A temple dedicated to Vaishno Devi is adorned by the locales in Doonagiri. Many myths bear testimony to this fact, according to which when Hanuman was carrying the Sanjiwani booty a piece fell here and since that day, this place is known as Doonagiri. Doonagiri affords a clear portrait of the imposing Himalayan Range. Doonagiri is flooded by tourists and devotees during Chait and Ashwin months of Navratras. 2. Chaukhutia It is situated 18kms from Dwarahat is on the Ranikhet-Badrinath highway. The historical past of Chaukhutia's is clear as clear as a glittering piece of gold. The religious significance can be seen basking in its glory in nearby areas. Kali temple, Vaishno Devi's temple, ancient forts and ruins of Katyuri dynasty makes Chaukhutia travelers pleasure.   3. Ranikhet Ranikhet is a hill station in Almora district of Uttarakhand state. Ranikhet is also the home for Kumaon regiment and Naga regiment of Indian Army. Ranikhet offers invigorating views of the snow capped peaks of the prodigious Himalayan range. Ranikhet literally means Queens Meadow or Queens field. Ranikhet is situated 37kms from Dwarahat set at an altitude of 1,869mts above sea level. 4. Someshwar It is a temple with Lord Shiva as its deity. Situated around 32kms from Dwarahat, Someshwar was constructed by the founder of the Chand Dynasty, Raja Som Chand. The name of the temple is merged with Raja Som Chand and Maheshwaraâ€TMs name. The temple holds great religious importance amongst locales.   5. Lakhanpur Temple Lakhanpur temple is situated just 25kms from Dwarahat on Jorasi-Chaukhutia road. This temple was constructed by the Katyuri kings. A small fair is also held at Lakhanpur temple every year in the month October-November. 6. Pandukholi Pandukholi is situated 10kms from Doonagiri. The caves built by Pandavas and where they lived during their exile period are situated here. An easy trek of 5km will lead you to these picturesque caves with glorious past.

If you are comfortable in riding bike in mountains and have done it before than there is no problem in manali during winters unless the roads gets blocked. Kit up properly and go for it.

Yes. one can travel on a bike around Manali. Take care of snow fall in the region and black hard ice on the roads. if the weather is clear, surely bile ride would be amazing. Try exploring Kothi, gulaba, Solang, vashisth, jogini falls around Manali and Naggar like 1 hr from Manali.
