If you do not know how to drive and still want to explore the mesmerizing town of Rishikesh, you can opt to go by a tourist bus. You can book a ticket online or reach the nearby bus depot to get one offline.

December is no doubt an ideal time to visit Gods own country. Filled with cool winter air, lush green all over, and most places covered with mist fog, December is great month to travel to Kerala.

The best time to visit Kerala is between the months of October and February. This is the time when the weather in the state is pleasant. If you are planning a trip during December, you must absolutely go ahead.

Anybody please suggest me how to plan a budget friendly trip to Ooty from Mysore!!!

Question is asked in "Budget Travel" tribe

With Dussehra coming in a weeks time, Mysore is one such spot to visit. Either first two days you see the celebration or last two days you view the celebrations. There are flights from chennai or Bangalore to Mysore, or from Bangalore you could hop on to a bus. Another way is trains from Bangalore. If you are planning 4 days stay in Mysore, book via Airbnb or Oyo now for as days near to Dussehra comes, rates hike up. You could cover Chamundi temple, rail museum, Brindavan gardens, bonsai garden, karanji lake, ranganathithu sanctuary and edmuri falls. One day is much needed to view the Dussehra celebration. Don’t forget to taste Mysore delicacies best sold around the palace.. From Mysore 3 hours away is Ooty. If you are planning for two days here are some important places, Ooty lake, botanical gardens, Dolphin nose, Doddabetta peak, Kalhatti falls. If you have few more days in hand, plan for trekking, hiking, Coonoor, wenlock downs, Pykara and tea factory visits. To stay there are lot of resorts around the lake, which are economical. Kindly check via MMT or Yatra. Here are some tripoto links, which might help you plan your trip better. https://www.tripoto.com/mysore/trips/amazing-trip-5dc81a79b1b3a https://www.tripoto.com/india/trips/mysore-to-ooty-scenic-journey-56f0e07544381 https://www.tripoto.com/tamil-nadu/trips/a-short-trip-4365

Will share a few tripoto links written by travellers pertaining to their travel to Rajasthan see if it is suitable for your travel. https://www.tripoto.com/rajasthan/trips/a-complete-guide-to-your-rajasthan-trip-7-day-itinerary-hotels-and-much-more-5abf22f1b2b9b https://www.tripoto.com/rajasthan/trips/9-days-6-cities-a-memorable-solo-trip-in-rajasthan-5850222c8f541 https://www.tripoto.com/rajasthan/trips/things-to-do-in-rajasthan-tourism-itinerary https://www.tripoto.com/karauli/trips/hidden-destinations-in-rajasthan-3574 Ahmadabad is 12 hours away from Jaipur. While Vadodara is 14 hours away, Statue of unity is 14 hours away and Gir national national park is 18 hours away. So my advice would be, one day you spend in Jaisalmer or choice of your place, then another day in Bikaner or choice of your place, third day unless you spend in Jaipur reaching Gujarath is comparatively easy. One more suggestion, you could cover both states with 10 days in hand. Upto you..

I was hoping to get cab from airport for all this itenary on the day of arrival. Is it possible to get cab with itenary like this? Is that going to be very expensive or any other suggesstions.
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Imphal to loktak is 45mts drive. There seems to be only cab services available to Loktak and cost comes around to 400 to 500rs for dropping. To explore within the city you can use their rickshaw services. From Loktak it takes 3 hours to reach Mohreh border. Here too there seems to be no direct bus services, so it's better to use a cab. Cost comes around to 2.5k to 3K. From Mohreh Ukrhul is 6 hours l will cost you not less than 5 to 6k. Imphal is 3 hours away from Ukhrul. There are buses here, not sure kindly check in the local bus station or in the resort you stay in. Cabs are there, shared cabs are there. Cost must be coming within 3k. If I am not wrong your cab expenses must be coming within 13k to 15k.
