You can travel to Kangra Fort & Dharamsala which is about 3:30 Hours away from Jalandhar.Nice getaway spot to spend weekend with your family :)

It's is little tough but average person can also do the trek. you will get all the accomodation in the way to ABC trekking.

If you are amateur and have no experience of trekking then I would suggest you to go with someone who has the experience of trekking. it is not very difficult per say however if you are not fit at all then you will have problems, trekking requires atleast an average body. and if you have a athletic body then you are good to go😇

Mcleodganj is great. But don't forget to include triund in your trip. I don't know whether they are allowing treks or not. But make safety the prime objective and not anything else. Also visit Dharamshala while returning.

Onam is one of the most traditional and popular festival which is celebrated in the state of Kerala. It is also called as harvest festival of Malayalam. People believe that the spirit of Mahabali visit Kerala during this festival.
