Hey, I have been to Meghalaya and Assam among the north eastern states and meghalaya left me spellbound. The main attractions in and around Shilong are as follows: Within Shilong - 1) Elephant falls
2) Don bosco Museum
3) Wards lake
4) The many view points to get a gorgeous view of the Khasi valley from the city Nearby Shillong: 1) Dawki (I'll rate it no. one as this is the place where the water is so clear that the boats appear as floating in the air, checkout some google images to believe me!) 2) Shnongpedong (a lesser known cousin of Dawki, but equally pristine, known for river side camping) 3) Mawlynnong (cleanest village of Asia) 4) Mawsynrum (wettest places on Earth) 5) Cherrapunji (which has a variety of attractions including Swami vivekanand mission, 7 sister falls, Nohkalikai Falls, lush parks and view points) 6) Krang suri falls (I have not visited it yet, but the photos are simply droolworthy!) Hope this helps :)

Before lock down I use to travel a lot, like mostly 3 trips a month. I just can never be home for much long. I get bored easily. During this lock down imagine a person like me who couldn't go out and it's almost been more than a month that I stepped out even for some walk or to a shop to get some chocolates. I am mostly in my room or go to balcony to gaze some stars, sun and moon. And you know I some how started loving being home. Initially I started admiring nature and enjoying the rains and the smell of soil when it rains, the Sunsets and the moon and the stars. Later I started with some hobbies that I always wanted to try but never did. I felt this is the right time. I started learning sketching, tried to dance and also I am trying to learn French. I am trying to follow a schedule every day where I do some exercise and have proper meals on time and also track the water intake. it's making me feel good about myself and keeping me positive. I am also watching some series or movies and also trying to be little away from social media. I think this will help me to be myself and keep me motivated to the new things that I'm trying to start.
It actually feels good when you start loving yourself. And this is the right time to invest in yourself along with the work from home that we are supposed to do.
Yes, they are the best part. Mainly if you have a chance better trek to any place to view the nature at its best. I always love the Monsoon treks to Western ghats.
Hey, One of my sincere opinion about tripoto is that there should be a better filtering so that poor quality content is not published on thus platform. Afterall, readers don't want mindless feeds about unappealing pictures and articles, rather they would enjoy a finer quality articles to read. Further, lately I m seeing that Tripoto shares really average or even below average articles on its social media platforms, which would really hurt it's image. Tripoto should practice much better filtering before publishing sole article on FB or other social media platforms.
It sometimes doesn't save on the mobile app. I had to login on web version again to upload any content. Its little frustrating because I'm most addicted to using a mobile than a laptop.
