I am optimistic. May be by first week of June. Travel to Spiti is in my bucket list for this summer
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
We have to be hopeful , because all the states won't allow travelling immediately after they lift the lockdown. I heard travel will be possible around September if the conditions subside...

They both can coexist together. Cheap can be comfortable only if you have the adventure sense and ready for some fun along the way. In my opinion planned trips are boring, basically like school field trips.

If I travel alone I prefer cheap travelling. But with family comfortable travelling is preferable.

Munnar it self is a good honeymoon destination.
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Any place in Munnar will give you the pristine hill view especially if you are going during the monsoon season. The cloud, the Western ghats create magical views.

Do not approach any travel or tourism entity. It is better to make the plan by yourself. The travel package gives less time for exploration for respective places. Plan your travel after choosing the places accordingly.

Rather than approaching a travel agency, you can go for self planning the trip. Research about the state and great places to visit in Kerala. I have visited Kerala twice and visited some gems of places which are quite hidden from mainstream tourism. You can DM me if you would like me to help you plan an itinerary. It would be an absolute delight for me! :)

Just go to Alleppey, either by bus or by booking private cars. There you will see houseboats lined up. Just negotiate with them, they can give you the best tours.

Also, if you wish to explore the depths of backwaters on a couple of hours boat ride, please visit a place called Poovar. It is a fantastic place for backwaters where you get to see birds, vegetation and the renowned golden beach.

Thanks for sharing this, I was not aware that Morena has so many good places to visit. in fact chausath yogini temple is in my travel list. will plan it soon after the lockdown.

Kerala is more beautiful during monsoons. While you visit, please go to Idukki dam and explore the small cave it has inside. At the end of the cave tunnel, it has a breathtaking view.
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Idukki has many places that can be visited in Monsoon and Water Level in Dam is also high during Monsoons with Lush Greenery and Many temporary waterfalls popping out at many places during monsoon.
