There is a surf club in mumbai - Virar. the details are Mumbai Surf Club based out of Rajodi beach Virar conduct surfing lessons on daily basis. Below are the fees options
1 session- INR 1000 (90mins)
8 sessions- INR 6000 ( 45 days validity)
15 surf sessions and unlimited surfboard rentals-25000 (1 year)

Just gone through your post, bro Mumbai has a lot to offer and personally I feel that 24 Hrs are not sufficient as given in your title. Try to get more catchy pictures with good details and good to know your couch surfing experience.
