Hey Tushar, In my opinion, Mcleodganj is a clear winner. Situated above Dharamshala, the town has a number of experiences to offer to travellers of all kinds. Whether you're seeking an escape into spirituality, want to undertake an adventure or simply want to relax and indulge in great food, Mcleodganj has it all. It is ideal for solo trips, family vacation and even for a couple getaway. In fact, I spent one month in that beautiful town and had the time of my life. I wrote an article a while back talking about my favourite hidden gems, do check it out: https://www.tripoto.com/trip/exploring-hidden-treasures-of-mcleodganj-5982d4c6b865 Hope you have a great trip!

We were a group of four college friends and we had put up at Villa Kairos near Muthialpet market. It is a beautiful heritage property that gives you an old world charm of colonial Pondicherry along with all the modern amenities at a reasonable price. You can find them on Airbnb . Our host was really cordial and helped us plan our trips in Pondicherry. I am attaching their Airbnb link below : https://www.airbnb.co.in/rooms/27919215?source_impression_id=p3_1581292800_Z9Z%2FhFz0aH%2BdU6vE

Hi Sakshi, If you're looking for a luxury hotel, I would suggest La Villa where rooms cost about Rs 14,000 onwards. A mid-range hotel that you are sure to like is La Chateau, which is absolutely beautiful. Rooms here cost around Rs 5,000 and up. You can even try Treebo Red Lotus Heritage Hotel where a room will cost you about Rs 2,700. If you're looking for a good hostel, I would recommend Micasa Hostels. Hope this is helpful! Have a wonderful trip :)
