Hey Parth! The festival has NOT been shut. The 2020 edition is yet to happen. Here's all you should know about it: Date of Event : 10 Mar 2020 The Elephant Festival Jaipur is organised according to the Indian calendar on the full moon day of Phalgun Purnima (February/March), this day also coincides with day of Holika Dahan. Most of the events/fairs/festivals entry is free. Jaipur is usually drenched in the colourful vibes of Holi during this time and you can get some great photos of the place at this time. The major attractions of the festival are elephant polo and elephant dances. The Elephant festival also features the tug-of-war game between an elephant and 19 men and women. In the end, the best-decorated elephant gets an award. Live concerts with traditional dances and music complete the festive atmosphere. Most events of the festival take place at the Rajasthan Polo Ground. The event is free to attend, so mind that the crowds could be rather large. Hope this answers your question!

Panch Kedar is one the most difficult pilgrimage tour in India, as all the Kedars are reached by trekking, with few lodges and eating places. The five Kedar lies in the valleys between the rivers Bhagirathi and Alaknanda. The pilgrimage Panch Kedar yatra covering all five temples over a 170 km route (road cum trek length) starting from Rishikesh in the order of: Kedarnath, Tungnath, Rudranath, Madhyamaheswar and Kalpeshwar. The best months for Panch Kedar Yatra are between May and October. All the temples of Panch Kedar open only for 6 months, generally from end April to October each year. During the winters the temples are inaccessible due to rainfall and snowfall...So April is a good time to visit

Are you planning to visit Netrani for scuba? One cannot get down on Netrani island. People visit mainly for snorkeling and scuba. We visited Murudeshwar during Christmas time last month and had inquired for Netrani visit and scuba. Children below 10 are not allowed even on boat and so we dropped plan of scuba since we travelled with kid. cost per person for scuba is around 5000. Netrani or pigeon island is around 20km boat ride from Murudeshwar. so takes more than an hour on boat. so ur 1 yrs kid might feel uncomfortable also.

It's not exactly difficult but compared to schengen visa it's a bit more tricky. VFS will help you out in sorting the documents but stick to exactly what documents they ask for. No more no less. Also, Turkey embassy take their sweet own time in issuing the visa so make sure you've an ample gap between application of visa and your travel dates.
