Hi, Vaibhav! If you're currently in Kasol, you have to reach Jari by bus or a taxi. Once in Jari, you can start the trek to Malana which takes around 4 hours. From Malana, it is further 10-km trek through stunning rhododendron forests with incredible views of Parvati valley landscape.

Reach Jari ( a place 23 kms from Bhuntar). Best way to do this is to board a public bus which is going to Manikaran/Barshen (20-50 INR). From Jari hire a cab till Malana gate (400INR/person). Then, from Malana Gate you need reach a dam which is at a distance of 2 kms from the gate.

If you have a valid Indian passport, you need to mention that you wish to visit Faroe Islands besides the obtaining the Schengen visa which is a must to visit Denmark. If you already have a Schengen visa, you can apply for the permit to visit Faroe Islands in Copenhagen from where you can take the flight to Faroe Islands. If you are flying in to the Faroe Islands from any other country apart from Denmark, then you can obtain the visa from the Danish embassy in that country. For getting around in the Faroe Islands, the most popular means of transport are cars, ferries, and buses.

Pack good with lot of woollens and spiked trekking shoes because you will be finding lot of snow there in february. If you have good prior experience you can trek solo there , its not that difficult but if you want a hassle free trek you can contact one out of lot of trekking companies there like India Hikes etc. You can also meet good travelling operators in Dehradun. They can set up a good trip for you.

Maintain your health do exercise and running approx 3 km in 30 mins. Take warm clothes , chocolates and essential things which would be provided by your trek organiser.

or else there are many resorts near Alibaug and pen area ther Big Red Tent at karnala is cheap and quite good you can do night treks to with the owner
