You can book a tent in any of the resort at Sam Sand dunes.

Hello Monika! Jaisalmer would be a great choice to kick start your new year! You can obviously opt to stay in a tent at Sam Sand Dune. When I traveled there, I stayed with Rajputana Tented Camps, they have a beautiful traditional dance show and authentic Rajasthani dinner for the guests. You can club a camel safari and a jeep safari with your stay.

There's this Hotel called Vhyomaan Inn in Panchgani. The Hotel is really pretty and inexpensive. They even have a duplex room. Main Mahabaleshwar is pretty crowded, I'd suggest you stay in Panchgani.

Hi Amey, Mahabaleshwar has many good options for staying! Citrus Chambers would be a good place to stay and chill. Hotel Lake View, White House are a few other options too. If you're planning to go to Panchgani, then what can be better than staying at Zostel :) Super amazing location and extremely pocket friendly!

You should consider Kerela, it's beautiful. Most of the North would be covered in snow and places like Goa would be overcrowded so, it would be a really good time to visit 'God's own Country - Kerela '
