In India - Kashmir ( Sonamarg and Gulmarg ) ,Manali, Dalhousie, Mcleodganj for snow weather, Gangtok with Darjeeling for amazing views.
Some beaches like - Andaman , Pondicherry. Outside India - Dubai, Singapore,Bali, Maldives . These are places currently under your budget and all inclusives with great pleasant weather.

Hi Taniya Assuming you will travel by bus, and are planning a weekend trip, would suggest to travel with a friend/companion to reduce cost. Home stay cost (Shillong)- Approx. 1500 per day (minimum, for a safe stay)
Travel expense is high- Approx. 2000 per day locally to visit places outside Shillong (Like Dawki, Cherrapunji, etc.), and you can use local transport for within Shillong options
Food Expense- Approx. 500 per day per person, in a decent home stay You might have to push your budget a little up and split it with a friend to cover within 5K. Cheers!

It depends upon your budget of trip. If you have low budget, you can book a studio apartment with an average of 1000~1500 per night and sufficient to stay upto 5 members. You can search on many hotel booking applications.

Coimbatore is very well connected with flights.... You can reach Ooty from Coimbatore...You can cover Ooty and Coonoor and then move to Coorg Then to Mysore and finally to Bangalore....which is well connected to Kolkata...

Last time we have booked through Zostel and it was fine. Almost 800 rs per person for 2 days.

Hi, In Southern India famous hill stations are Kodaikanal, Ooty, Coorg and Horseley hills.

Hi Snigdha, Pondicherry best visit months are from October to March! On season here is December month - Christmas time but very much crowded and costly. Rest of the months it's pretty good to travel with less budget and less crowd. If you would like to know more please follow my Mini goa blog on Tripto.

You have to reach Coimbatore , it can be reached via train or air plane.
after reaching Coimbatore take a bus to new bus stand coimbatore you will get bus every 15 min to ooty . catch the bus and reach ooty in 3 hours. via cab it will take 2.30 hours and 2500rs next day visit local ooty taking local cab fr 1200rs that includes dodabetta, botanical garden, boat house day 2 have a trip to pyara day 3 you can plan to visit coorg and stay in coorg day 4 local coorg sighting day 5 move to wayanad from here. day 7 you can plan to move back to mumbai from kozhikode

Most suitable time for visting Spiti valley is in month of June to September(primarily, summer months). Its one of the best time to visit as the temperature is pleasant and classy!
With almost no frozen roads, the summer seasons are the most desired timing for travelling.
However, winter in Spiti is really an arduous task, as temperature usually drops to -30° Celsius- which is almost unbearable. Plus, Manali-kaza highway is blocked in winters.
So, I would recommend you to visit Spiti in Summer season. Happy journey!

You can earn credits for the trips or photo blog you post, ranging from 0 to 75.. And once you have some redeemable credits, you can redeem it to get discounted priced trips... Until last year tripoto gave a all inclusive trip to one of the top 3 contributors.. But that is no longer there I think
