15-20 days if you want to travel whole sikkim north, you can also include darjeeling. there are many beautiful valleys like yamthung valley. you can also visit india china border.
Sikkim is one of the most beautiful place in India...! It will take you around 12-15 days to explore famous points in the state. But I would like to suggest you that don't extend the trip for more than 10 days including Darjeeling as u are with family. Actually, Sikkim tourism can be broadly classified as North, South, East and West Sikkim. North is one of the popular one. Baba Temple, Nathula pass, Chango lake like places. at Darjeeling, watching Kanchunjanga inaugurating with the rays of sun, peak wearing gold crown is a spectacular ceremony. One day is enough here. spend at least 8-10 days to enjoy your stay at Sikkim.
Apurvaji..... Can you please guide me that in which place I have to stay how many days ? Means in Gangtok how Many days , Darjeeling How many days , Pelling how many days, Lachung How many days.... We are skipping Lachen as we have kids n Ladies in our group, we are going for 9N 10D as per your sug
Gangtok is just the tip of the iceberg in Sikkim. Please plan to include Pelling and Namchi (if you do not have time to cover North Sikkim). I would suggest keep 10 days to truly soak in the beauty this place has to offer.
Sikkim itself will take you 10 days, if you want to explore every bit fully. North Sikkim (2N/3D), Silk Route in East Sikkim (3N/4D) and Gangtok-Pelling (2N/3D). Since there are different permits required for the first two places, you need at least 10 days for this. Darjeeling and vicinity can be covered in 2-5 days, depending on the places you want to explore.
Namaste Ji,
