Though the best time to visit chakrata is surely right now i.e. monsoon but there are chances of roads getting blocked due to recent landslides.

Chakrata is the nice place a must visit but the best time is during the month of October. and your hotel or homestay should be book prior because at that period of time no hotels are available as it's the perks time for tourist visit
