Hello, I too am planning to have a SOLO trip to MEGHALAYA, TAWANG (ARUNACHAL PRADESH), & SIKKIM, this October. I can only suggest the places to visit in MEGHALAYA. Near Shillong: 1) Elephant Falls
2) Mawphlang Sacred Forest
3) Laithum Canyon
4) David Scott Trails Near Cherrapunji: 1) Double Decker Bridge
2) Nohkalikai Waterfalls
3) Dian - Thlen Falls
4) Nohsnguthiang Falls - Seven Sisters Falls
5) Kynrem Falls Far from Cherrapunji (West of Cherrapunji) 1) Krem Puri Cave System (Krem Liat Prah) Far from Cherrapunji (East of Cherrapunji) 1) Dawki lake I will be visiting most of the above places ON BIKE. I will rent the bike from Guawahati and then spend 2 days in MEGHALAYA. 2 days are enough to explore these places (excl. Cave system) I will be arriving in NE in first week of October. I have not decided on the order of my visit but I think I will Do TAWANG before MEGHALAYA. In ARUNACHAL only Tawang is possible for me because rest places will consume almost a Day in just travelling. So currently I am SOLO, If I find anyone to join me on my bike ride, that will do wonders to my journey. I hope I have helped.
