Duration - Plan for minimum 6 days tour to Shimla and Manali. stay 2 nights at Shimla and 3 nights at Manali. How to reach - Arrive Delhi or Chandigarh via air/train to start your road travel. Chandigarh is best option as road travel is less as compare to Delhi. Must visit places - Shimla - Shimla Mall Road, Ridge maidaan, lakaar bazaar, Indian Institute of advance studies, jakhoo temple and kufri. Very good choice for a couple getaway!! Shimla is bit crowdy and too mainstream for a couple, if you didn't booked your stay, i'd recommend you to stay in Chail, 50km far from Shimla and very peaceful and beautiful place for a couple. After exploring Chail, you can go for Shimla and then Manali, opt for renting a bike instead of cab in manali as manali to Gulaba & Solang Valley journey has beautiful scenery all the way.
