HeyAj, I don't suggest you to visit Kaza now ... As entire lahaul and spiti valley districts are suffering snow fall and connectivity has been blocked ... Better to wait for a while or just have a check with HRTC to know if buses are plying from manali to kaza, as the shimla to kaza route will be closed for may be next 3months .. . Happy Travelling Bro!!!

I won't suggest to visit kaza in the month of November. Winters approach Kaza in November and lasts till April. The temperature drops below the freezing point in this season. Heavy woollen clothes are preferred to take while going for Kaza during winter season. The best season to visit Kaza is the summer season. The temperature remains cool and comfortable and is apt for sightseeing. The best months to visit are May, June, July, August and October. Summers of Kaza are pleasant.

Well my friend I don' think so, these are the winter months in Kaza. From mid-October until February, is the least advisable time to visit Kaza owing to extremely chilly temperature and inhospitable roads. Low temperatures and extremely chilly climatic conditions restrict any sightseeing or outdoor activities. Frequent landslides and heavy snowfall during winters make it impossible for vehicles to ply the route. Only physically fit people, who are daring to go, should take the risk of a trip at this time; otherwise, it is better to avoid a journey to Kaza at this time.

Spiti transforms into a brilliant wonderland covered in powdery-white snow during winters each year. Sights like frozen lakes, waterfalls, and snow-covered mountains dotted with pugmarks of snow leopards are common. Visiting Spiti in winters is a once in a lifetime opportunity especially for travellers who love extreme winter adventures and enjoy activities like snow trekking, frozen waterfall climbing, and viewing the elusive snow leopard. The valley, due to the absence of crowds, is quiet and calm. During the winter months, Spiti can be approached only from the Shimla side. Since the place is almost landlocked due to heavy snow cover, be prepared for a tough trip physically as well as mentally. Duration of winter: Winters in Spiti extend for 5 months i.e. from October to February. Average Temperature: The average temperatures range between 0°C in the day to around -40°C in the night.
