Hey Saloni, You can visit Leh via road only from June to October as in rest of the month's road get blocked due to snowfall so you have to go by air and follow the Day 3 to 7 itinerary written below. Alternate Options - North Sikkim, Kashmir, Kerala, Shimla-Manali-Dharamshala tour Ladakh trip cost : 1) Via Road in June to October (the only time when roads remain open ) a)Bike on Rent from Delhi: It will cost you total 20k per person if you go with your friend on a single bike. b) Sharing Jeep from Manali: it will cost you approx 18k per person. 2)Via Air in rest of the months It will depend on air tickets( normally 5k per person from Delhi). Then it will cost you a total 20k per person. This all is a rough idea of cost. So always keep +5k extra with you. Hi Saloni, The best month to visit Leh is 1st week of June. As it offers pleasant climate. I had travelled via Chandighar (road trip) and enjoyed the scenic beauty. You can halt at Numbra , Jispa as it offers various camping options. We had 2 days halt at leh (Hotel Reeyork) for aclimatization, then headed to Ladhak camping at Numbra and Pangong. Happy Holidays😊

During this time all the roads will be closed and the lakes will be frozen. The temperature during this time of the month is Maximum 1° C, Minimum -11° C. All you can see are the mountain covered with white snow. Another thing you need to keep in mind if you are traveling in this month is that there will be very less water as the water solidifies. And also you will have the trouble of power cut for 6 hours. If you are planning to visit Ladakh during this time of the year then always takes flights as all the highways and the passes will be closed. There are chances that flights might get canceled due to bad weather conditions. Accommodations will be accessible yet not each of the hotels would be operational. Those of you who love winters then there are a lot of monasteries which have festivals there during this period. It is an experience to be cherished. Dosmochey, Yargon Tungshak, Stok Guru Tsechu, Matho Nagrang are few of the celebrations which are held in this month.
