Mid-November to Mid-February: These are the best months to visit the party capital since the weather is pleasantly cool and comfortable. It's the perfect time to relax on the beaches amidst other tourists who make the most of these three months in Goa.
Depends totally on the type of traveller you are
Summers are for beach enthusiasts, lots of sea activities, you can swim a lot
Winters are for night parties, cool breezy days
And don't forget the rainy season, the villages, abandoned forts and churches looks majestic with cloudy skies
Best Time to visit goa is from October to March when the weather is cool and pleasant. Airport is located in Vasco da Gama it is located at centre of the goa but the majot tourist attractions are bit far from there. If you plan to stay in north goa than calangute beach is good option, same way palolem beach is good option if you choose to stay in South.
NOv to Feb is the best time to visit Goa Monsoon is also good but you cant enjoy water sports then.
Airport is quite far from the main Goa
Will recommend you should be staying near Baga or Calangute beach if you want to experience the real spirit of Goa
This is the good time till March , budget room/shacks available in arambol beach , always filled with Russian and less Indian . it bit far from airport
Hi, Best time would be Oct to March first week. it was already hot in Feb this year. We stayed in County inn by Radisson in Panjim for easy access and also in an Airbnb property in South Goa.
I will suggest best place to stay and have some portiguish feel in rua de natal area punjim.. i been there and stayed in Hospedaria Abrigo de Botelho hotel its best hotel in budget with international breakfast menu , owner is too friendly ..he will give u comfort , furnishibg is full of royalty.
Hi Saburi, There is no so called best time to visit Goa. Goa is just Goa. Its beaches, fun and party when in Goa. However, the best time to avoid goa is during monsoons, i.e from july to september. And the so called best time or the time when most tourists flock goa is from November to March. At this time there are maximum citings in Goa of foreign as well local tourist. The best thing about Goa is it has some thing to offer to all the kinds of the tourist, for eg. young people lookin for parties, then North Goa is the best spot. For the ones looking for easing around, south goa is a nice option. And then comes the famous Casinos of goa which are situated at panjim on the river Mandovi. So for a solo traveller, North goa offers some real cheap stay options along with some amazing party places.
Hope this helps.
If you are visiting during Nov to Feb, please stay in Huts near by beaches. It's good to explore.
Secondly, Goa is safe across north and South, you guys can stay anywhere based on the beaches you want to explore. There are multiple cafe, pubs and restro to explore near every beach. If you eat non veg try for malvan food and go for sea food. Veg options are also tremendous. Please visit "La chaos" in Baga beach.
I think best time is during august..Less crowd and you can enjoy the beauty of Goa.. But if you are planning for Dudhsagar then after november.. You can stay in north goa , but it's crowded , whereas the distance between south to north is more than 20km.. and most of the famous beach and places are in north..but if you want lonely and relaxing beach and less crowded places then South Goa is best .
