I have just been to Maldives. I stayed for 4 nights there. I spent around 1.4L for 2 adults and a kid. This expenditure includes 2 nights in over water villa.

Maldives can be covered in 40-50k individually, but Maldives is a luxury destination and you will need to do some real good research to get that price

Maldives is considered a luxury travel destination and as such, can be on the expensive side, due to their luxury resorts and packages, and limited budget-friendly accommodation. However, that is not to say that you won't be able to find a package that suits your budget too.
Best is to speak to a travel agent or tour operator to the Maldives and let them know your available budget, so that they can customise a good package for you.
