Located on north west part of Nepal where Humla Karnali river flows, roads from Hilsa is bad. Taking Kathmandu route via mansarovar lake darchrn Narala pass touching Purang you reach simikot. As you are going to drive at a greater height, with roads being dangerous carry all that is required for the vehicle. Since you will be touching Nepal Tibet border carry required papers. From what I enquired, best way to reach simikot is by flying from Nepal through a helicopter. Another way is trekking on limi valley, still it’s a dangerous path. Have a safe journey and share your experiences on tripoto.
