One of the difficult treks in sahyadris, it you are an amid trekker you won't get that much preparation i believe. If you are beginner better you shouldn't start with Lingana.

Not that much preparation if you are regular trekker.for beginner you have to increase the endurance level along with difficulty of the trekking
