The best place for female solo trips are Mysore, Shimla and Pondicherry. I will personally recommend Pondicherry as its really pretty and peaceful place.

Pondicherry, Goa, I feel safe and peaceful there. Just as advice, in any place can happen in some situations, so better keep your stuff and money.
