Hello Shivang, there are two streams one is full time traveller, other one is full time travel photographer.
If you want to me traveller dn you have to just keep climbing, make good content on social media so people likes your work. One of my friend got sponsored for Everest base camp just because she used to hike a lot and use to publish pictures on Tripoto.
You need to start going out n make your strong portfolio.
I believe i want to be a travel photographer. I just want to know if I have to get a degree, diploma or certificate in photography or in ani other field or if it can be achieved without this. If yes, can you tell me or refer me which institutes or colleges provide such courses. & how can i make my portfolio..??
You can take up a photography course and then apply for travel photography jobs. Gradually you can set up yourself and travel as per your wish and get paid for it to[that happens much later]
Travelling the whole world is a long journey. But to travel the miles you will first have to take the little steps.
tart from any destination which is closer home . I mean something in 200-400 km from your hometown. Then basis your experience and learning you can explore more .
Soon you will be a globetrotter :)
Happy Travelling !!!
Hi, I also work as an engineering consultant and you can learn more about my boring office profession here https://engre.co/blogs/articles/what-is-an-engineering-consultant/ and I was also once scared to start traveling. Living a nomadic life is one of the most common modern dreams. There is nothing surprising in this: traveling the world, discovering new countries and continents, is much more fun than languishing in a boring office.
So why do people continue to go to work every day, take out loans and wait a whole year for a two-week vacation? The answer is simple: everyone wants financial stability. Leaving affluence and going to the wide world is a difficult step, especially when it is not clear where to get money for eternal travels. We have been traveling the world for more than a year, and during this time we managed to master the simple science of making money while traveling.
As a rule, when we say this, people imagine us as eternal wanderers, constantly moving from place to place, never staying more than one night. We really like such march-throws, but not more often than once every one or two months.
Usually we stop in some heavenly corner for a month, relax there (rest), earn money and move on.
My advice to you is to sell photos on photostocks. Travelers tend to make money from sites like Getty, iStock, and Fotolia, but there are so many that it's hard to give specific recommendations.
