Always solo travelling. but maybe a group of 2 or 3 is also good. too many chefs will spoil a curry.

Ideal for those who enjoy independence. 2. Group travel – More social, safer, and often more budget-friendly. Great for shared experiences and making memories with friends or family. If you love flexibility and adventure, go solo. If you enjoy companionship and planned itineraries, group travel is better.

Large group travel often turns into a series of committee meetings about where to eat, which can drain the joy out of a trip! For me, the choice depends on the mental energy I have: Solo: Is my favorite for "recharging." There is a unique peace in being responsible only for yourself. As Meera mentioned, the self-discovery aspect is real—you learn exactly what you like when no one is watching. Group: I reserve this for adventure-heavy trips or remote locations. Having someone to share the driving, the costs, and the "did you see that?!" moments is worth the occasional compromise. Jan and Chetan, while solo is "best" for freedom, I’ve found that a Group of Two—specifically with a partner or best friend—often gives you the best of both worlds.
