Old State House The Hartford Convention and the first Amistad Trial are both close by this Old State House. Due to multiple trials undertaken to liberate the slaves from the Spanish slave dealers, saying that they are no longer their property, the Supreme Court in this location reached the ruling.

One of the nation's oldest state houses and a National Historic Landmark, this state house dates back to 1796. You may find a number of fascinating exhibitions here, such as historical collections and artworks. Despite the fact that tourists may take guided or unguided tours, some individuals still believe the structure to be haunted.
