Hey Faiz, Near new year eve every tourist place will be little more crowded than usual. When you are visiting Kasol; go to nearby Chalal village. Chalal is 1 km far from Kasol and it will take 15 minutes to reach there. You can get one room with hill view at Rs500 for two persons in Chalal. This is my simple itinerary of Parvati Valley : https://www.tripoto.com/trip/covertheparvativalleyin7days-5bab66898dbe9?ref=mobwapp&source=awp Hope this would help you.

No kasol has its own beauty during winter. u can explore kasol, tosh, parvati valley, manikaran, nd can also expect some snowfall. the only thing is the kheerganga trekk will not be that much possible in winters and neither u can dive into the natural hot water pool.

Here are some points yu should know 1. Avoid walking riverside 2. Most of the forest from Kasol to Malana trek are bear prone area during winter cause animals come down during winter and yu might get surprised and may get panic attacks. 3.Trek will become difficult if yu approaching from barshani to kheerganga. Forget kheerganga yu can only go up to rudranag. And if yu really wanna give a try for the trek then yu should have proper hiking gear and other important accessories. Don't forget gas lighter! and visit only in the day time I highly won't recommend going anywhere in dark.

Kadol is going to be a crowded place during New year. There is huge possibility that you won't get a place to camp. I went during Dusshera vacations, situation was almost similar.

Rom October to February is the right season for you. The temperature during the season usually varies from 3 to 10 degrees Celsius and the roads leading to Kasol might be blocked because of snow.
