I've always preferred South Goa over North due to better beaches and less crowd. Some of my favorite places to explore in South Goa would be Dudhsagar Falls, Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary, Agonda Beach. But do visit North Goa as well since it has the whole "Goa" vibe with colorful beaches and people.
