North Goa for the parties and rocky beaches.
South Goa for the calm waters and serenity. Goa during Christmas is a whole new experience- here's why https://tripoto.page.link/pwnPfoBKJWPqnTZH6
It has to be North Goa if you are energetic, love to party, play water sports and one who enjoys visiting a lot of places in a day. North Goa has many famous beaches like Miramar, Candolim, Calangute, Baga, Anjuna, Vagator, Morjim and Arambol which are close to one another. They have water sports activities like water-skiing, para-sailing, fishing, scuba-diving and wind-surfing. Panaji (Panjim) has casinos (even floating Casinos). It has big licensed wine shops. The roads are wide, clean and neat. You get a variety of restaurants some of which are open even at late nights. They have huge Churches & Cathedrals. Whereas in South Goa, it’s more like a small town, narrow roads, lesser places to roam, no big wine shops. South Goa has a limited number of good restaurants but you have the option of lavish resorts for staying. South Goa beaches are comparatively less crowded and more of calmness and relaxation. People come here to relax and chill. Water sports are only at Colva beach with less number of activities. Other decent beach is Sunset beach and Betalbatim beach. The Palolem beach is best in South Goa which is in the extreme south side. Another South Goa attractions are Japanese garden, Indian Naval Aviation museum, Mangeshi temple, Mahalsa Narayani temple, etc. to name a few.
North goa if u wanna party hard and more shopping and be lively with lots of social activities.
