Hey there, I would highly recommend Sri Lanka due to its rich cultural heritage, warm welcomes, exotic wildlife & beautiful beaches. We visited Sri Lanka last December and it was the most amazing experience. Our main highlight of the trip was our visit to Hatton where we stayed at Dunkeld Bungalow of Ceylon Tea Trails, overlooking the Castlereagh lake with spectacular views of the Great Western mountain range. This was recommended to us by a friend and was definitely worth it. The secluded ‘Owner’s Cottage’ offers a romantic one-bedroom residence hidden privately in the tea fields. It is the ideal way to spend a peaceful vacay. We were also given a free tour around the bungalow, tea plantations and tea factory which is operated by Dilmah.
