Choose somewhere near North Goa. However as per my experience with limited budget Morjim Resort,north goa is fine!

I will suggest you to try backpackers, it's a best for living it's in your budget and you can meet a many new people and also get many information by that too. Backpackers is actually you can living in hostel but not like college hostels... it's up to you what's your budget or u afford for that or not .... you can try that.
