Hi Susnata, in some ways entire North Sikkim is remote and offbeat. These are some of out of this world places in North Sikkim: Yumthang Valley, Chopta Valley, Lachen, Thangu and the Green Lake Trek.

There is many off beat place you can cover in north sikkim.
1. yumthang valley - 3500 above sea level and full with wild flowers across through the valley. 2.Rawangla - tea garden and golden statue of Buddha is main attraction 3.Tsomgo lake -height 12400ft and surrounded by hill is beautiful picture which is drawn by every artist on their canvas. 4.Barsey - Located in West Sikkim, Barsey is known for its vibrant and colourful Rhododendron Sanctuary. Trekking through sanctuary (teeming with wildlife such as the rare Red Panda) to the Guras Kunj trekkers hut is an exhilarating experience. Soak up the warm rays of the sun at this picturesque hut while you enjoy a panoramic view of the rugged Singalila range. 5. Gyalshing - Meaning is King Garden 6.Green lake trek- The trekking trail passes through thick Rhododendron, primulas and blue poppy forests. The breathtaking view of the Kanchendzonga further enhances the beauty of this place. 7. Tosar lake trek and many more places are present there . now its depend upon you, how much time you have to flying in nature nest.

You can do my itinerary as those are real offbeats of Sikkim.... But if you want certain places in North sikkim only... Then go for Katao... Its not that travelled
