Hi Tanmay, monsoon is the best time to explore places around Pune. Following places are best to visit right now: Thosegar Falls, Tapola, Bhimashankar, Karnala and Kamshet. Kolad, Kalsubai Peak and Malshej Ghat are more than 100km away from Pune but they are worth visiting. For more options, read the attached article.

Hi Tanmay! If you're in Pune during Monsoon, then It's heaven and you'll have plenty of options. To feel the touch of adventure :- You can try numerous trekking sites/forts in Lonavala area or Nagar area such as Kalsubai or Harishchandragarh If you just want to enjoy driving through scenic roads surrounded by waterfalls, then you can head to Malshej Ghat, Bhor Ghat or Tahmini Ghat. You can take a look on this as well:- https://www.tripoto.com/trip/malshej-ghat-a-trail-through-waterfalls If you like relaxing in some hill statation then, head to Mahabaleshwar, Matheran or Lonavala-Khandala If you are planning to chill at beaches, then drive to Diveghar or Kashid Beach through scenic roads of Konkan. I personally recommend the trekking option as you can chose from huge range of treks from easy to difficult grade and can see the nature and monsoon at its fullest.
