Nightingale Park: Known as The Shrubbery during the British-era, this lush park offers views of Mount Kanchenjunga and other peaks. Surrounded by pine trees and rows of flowers you can see cultural performances every evening, a Lord Shiva Temple, a waterfall, and an artificial lake. Rock Garden: This unique place is made by cutting rocks in several shapes to make seats & viewpoints. Surrounded by dense shrubs & flower patches is the scenic Chunar waterfall inside that is a must-see. Peace Pagoda: The place depicts 4 avatars of Lord Buddha in sitting, sleeping, meditating, and standing phases and is also the tallest freely-standing structure here. This is the ideal place to see snow-capped Himalayan peaks amidst the serenity of nature. Ghoom Monastery: This 18th-century monastery is famous for a 15 ft. high statue of Buddha and stunning traditional Thangka paintings, bells, and drums adorning its walls.
